Dishwashers have come a long way!
Due to technological advancements, filtration systems, food grinders/disposers, and better detergents, not only is there no reason to pre-rinse dishes but you are unnecessarily wasting water which in-turn is pouring money down the drain. Before loading the dishwasher, you only need to scrape large pieces of food off the dishes, pots and utensils. The dishwasher will more efficiently and effectively handle and remove the rest, saving you time and money.
