Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with residential as well as commercial plumbing
• Apprentice Plumbing License (Required)
• Journeyman’s Plumbing License (Preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Must have knowledge and experience in repair and general maintenance of plumbing.
• Must be able to demonstrate amazing written, verbal, and digital interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of residential as well as commercial plumbing.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 100 lbs.
• Must show confidence and comfortability with day-to-day sales and customer relationships.
• Must be professional and punctual.
• Must have the ability to use tools of the trade including, but not limited to: plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels, and screwdrivers.
• Must have strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and sales skills with an enthusiastic personality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and installations of plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, sump pumps, water softeners, gas lines, garbage disposals, etc.
• Perform general maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent emergencies.
• Keep and maintain records such as customer job summaries, time spent on the job, and materials used and purchased for the work on paper and iPad.
• Prepare and provide estimates to customers.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain impeccable communication with dispatch and management teams.
• Maintain your company truck regularly by keeping it clean inside and out.
• Follow current rules and regulations to ensure that plumbing systems pass inspection the first time.
• Participate in ongoing training that aids in your development and success as a professional.

We are a family-owned plumbing company looking to grow our team. We are looking for motivated and dependable Plumbing Apprentices to join our team. Our Plumbers are extremely valuable members of our business and you will get to learn from knowledgeable licensed plumbers as you complete services for our clients. As an apprentice, you will gain valuable experience and skillsets that will help you work towards your own journeyman’s license.

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined
• Basic math skills
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift over 50lbs daily
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills
• Pass background check
• Chauffer’s license or the ability to obtain

Responsibilities:

• Assist lea plumbers on jobs
• Prep job sites and clean upon completion
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Ensure work is completed to code and company standards
• Locate and identify issues

**This position is considered to be “IN Training” which will have increasingly more difficult tasks based upon experience and growth.

• Salary position based on experience
• M-F 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
• 1-3 years of experience in shop/warehouse environment
• 1-3 years of plumbing experience
• Knowledge of plumbing parts a plus
• 1-3 years of experience purchasing
• 1-3 years inventory management
• Basic computer skills: Word/Excel/Outlook
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Chauffer’s license or ability to obtain

Duties:

• Communicate with office staff daily concerning job status
• Order parts from vendors as needed and maintain vendor relations
• Maintain inventory and purchase as needed
• Pull and label items for service techs
• Excellent people and problem-solving skills
• Attend weekly meetings with office staff
• Constant communication with General Manager and Operations Manager on any concerns and progress delay
• Creative thinker who can think outside the box who wants to make the position their own and grow
• Maintain neat and organized shop
